Design your own Porsche

    porscheselecta.gif

While you are sitting there, pretending to work, might as well design your own Porsche. Kinda' fun time-waster.

AmpSequoia.jpg

Now Available for the Newly Refined 2008 Toyota Sequoia...

Uniquely designed for Sequoia, the AMP Research Power Step, a full-length running board that automatically lowers when any door opens, then retracts under the rocker panel when the doors close, is now available for this powerful and roomy eight passenger SUV. A weather-tight motor and drive system does all the work in one smooth operation. Safety features include a 600 lb. weight rating per side, and anti-pinch technology that prevents the step from moving if resistance is encountered while in motion.

The kit includes everything needed for installation, including vehicle specific mounting hardware, detailed instructions, wiring harnesses and an electronic control unit. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty, and made in the USA, the AMP Research Power Step is nationally distributed by Bestop.

Stacey David at Nashville Internat'l Auto Show

StaceyCoppersm.jpg

Stacey David, host of Stacey David’s GearZ airing on the Speed Channel on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. CST, was a huge draw for last weekend’s Nashville International Auto Show. Held at the Nashville Convention Center, and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, Inc., the show featured hundreds of 2008 model vehicles, pre-production models, concept cars, exotics and more.

The GearZ booth, which featured Stacey’s custom built 1967 Chevy C10 fleetside truck known as the Copperhead in part for its unique one-of-a-kind color, was a constant hive of activity where attendees watched show episodes while waiting in line.

Pre-1976 Cars Not Exempt?

chevelle.jpg

Here's a little tidbit that does not bode well for California car owners... "California State Senator Dean Florez has proposed a new bill that, if passed, will repeal the emissions exemption on pre-1976 cars in eight California counties. This means your classic car would have to pass California’s emissions test for the life of the vehicle."

Found that over at Japanese Nostalgic Car...
